Jerome Picard is this semester teaching the master course Think Tank Bergen and in the 3rd year. When not at BAS, he works for OMA in Rotterdam. He will do a self-presentation for the school on Wednesday 3. December at 1200, in the large auditorium. Bring you lunch and come learn more about Jerome.
The lecture explores various elements which create the character of a place through the showing of 4 projects situated in Portugal and Norway.
Nuno Almeida is a Portuguese landscape architect working in Bergen. He joined NPK Arquitectos Paisagistas in 2001, working alongside some of the more important architects in Portugal. In 2007, together with Lilia Coelho, he won the Best Young Landscape Architect award. And since 2012 he has been working with Arkitektgruppen Cubus on projects, plans and competitions throughout Norway.
Shreya Nagrath from India, Victor Magelhaes from Brasil and Almudena Ruiz-Gimenez Ubeda from Spain are part of the illustrations in this report on the motivations, expectations and experiences of foreign students in Norway.
