Tuesday 26. April we invited our foreign students to join a field trip to Havrå, one of the best-preserved traditional Norwegian cluster farms: “made by generations before us, for generations to come.” The farm is located in Osterøy, about 45 minutes drive from Bergen. The students were given a guided tour by the Museum staff from MUHO (Museumssenteret i Hordaland) . This excursion were supported by organizational support from Erasmus+, and BAS is happy that we could give our foreign students an introduction to this well preserved cluster farm where people have farmed since the older Bronze age. It also provided an opportunity to see some of the surroundings and landscape around Bergen.
