On Saturday, August 16th, we officially opened the new academic year 2025/26 at BAS. The day was marked by welcoming our new students and, in the evening, celebrating our recently graduated Masters in Architecture.

This year, 42 candidates successfully completed their final exams and are now ready to enter the world as practicing architects. In front of family, friends, fellow students, and staff at BAS, they received their diplomas – a well-deserved recognition of five years of dedicated studies. We warmly congratulate all our new graduates and wish them the very best in their future endeavors!

At the same time, we are proud to present this year’s diploma exhibition “I Emning” – the Norwegian expression for “in the making”. The phrase describes something that is coming into being, under development, or in preparation – a fitting title for the projects that represent the transition from student work to professional practice.

The diploma projects will be on display and open to the public from 16–24 August 2025 at BAS, offering insight into the creativity, dedication, and architectural visions of our graduates.
